Anil Hinduja has left his role as executive vice president and chief risk officer at Freddie Mac, and the government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) has moved executive John Glessner into the position, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Hinduja had served as executive vice president and chief risk officer since 2015, when Freddie Mac named him chief enterprise risk officer, reporting to then-CEO Donald Layton. He was responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide risk management — including credit, market, liquidity, operational, model and regulatory compliance risks. Hinduja’s employment with Freddie Mac ended on Oct. 1, and the filing did not state whether Hinduja resigned or was terminated. Glessner, who previously served as executive vice president of investments and capital markets, assumed the role. Glessner, who joined the enterprise in 2010, has held senior roles inside Freddie Mac’s capital markets business, which manages the company’s funding, hedging and securities issuance activities that support its businesses.
