The Foundry Group has joined Compass Raleigh from an independent operation in Pinehurst, bringing more than $200 million in closed sales volume across Moore County, North Carolina, Compass announced Tuesday. The Pinehurst-based team is led by co-principal brokers Leigh Amigo and Kristen Moracco, who together have 15 years of residential real estate experience, according to the company announcement. In 2025, the medium-sized team closed 81.5 transaction sides totaling $30.45 million in sales volume, according to RealTrends Verified data. This performance earned the team the No. 49 rank in the state for volume and No. 29 rank for transaction side count. The team was previously brokered by Iron Valley Real Estate Hampton Roads. Amigo and Moracco formed The Foundry Group after six years as individual top producers competing in Pinehurst, Southern Pines and surrounding communities. The team’s business is focused on local expertise, direct communication and personalized service, the company said.
