FMLS and MARIS launch two-way MLS data sharing

First Multiple Listing Service (FMLS) and Mid-America Regional Information Systems (MARIS) have launched a two-way data-sharing partnership that gives their subscribers native access to cross-market listing data in Georgia, Missouri and Illinois, the organizations announced last week. Through the agreement, professionals in each MLS can search the other’s listings directly inside the platform they already use, without a separate login or system. They said the connection is designed to simplify how agents work with relocation, second-home and investor clients who are active across multiple markets. “Real estate clients don’t think about MLS boundaries when they’re deciding where to live, work or invest,” Jeremy Crawford, the president and CEO of FMLS, said in the announcement. “This partnership with MARIS helps remove those boundaries for real estate professionals.” The two-way feed allows FMLS subscribers in the Atlanta metro and across Georgia to view MARIS data from more than 130 counties in Missouri and Illinois, while MARIS’ roughly 15,000 subscribers can see FMLS listing information, all within their native systems.
