First homebuyers struggling to get into the market have been given a helping hand as almost 40 new apartments are set to hit the market in one of the largest urban infill residential developments in Adelaide’s western suburbs. Built by SA developer Fairland, the $17.5m project The Canopy Apartments at St James in Kidman Park, will feature 38 architecturally-designed affordable one and two-bedroom homes priced from $595,000. St James project director Aleck Whitham said the complex would play an important part in making the development a welcoming and vibrant community. “We’re really excited about this project as it not only marks a significant moment for our company but also reflects how St James is evolving as a community providing housing options that respond to the needs of a diverse range of buyers,” he said.
