The first apartments in a $250m housing and retail neighbourhood at Forestville’s former Le Cornu site have hit the market.
Developer Buildtec has released 93 one, two and three-bedroom apartments in Forestville, which was recently approved by the state’s commission assessment panel.
They will include premium fixtures and fittings, top-of-the-range Miele appliances, carparking, EV charging stations and bike storage.
Residents will have secure and direct access to and from Leader St and Maple Ave.
Prices for the apartments will start at $699,000 for one bedroom, $902,025 for two and $1.696m for three.
Construction is due to start later this year.

Buildtec managing director Anthony Carrocci said bringing the first apartments to market marked a significant milestone for the project.
“The Forestville Apartments will set a new benchmark with future residents enjoying the best of both worlds with a peaceful sanctuary at home, and the vibrancy of Adelaide’s best retail, food stores and cafes literally right outside their doorstep,” he said.
“All the apartments have been thoughtfully designed to maximise the use of space and natural light, with generous open living spaces and premium fixtures and fittings.
“Forestville is really starting to take shape.”

A market square known as The Agora will feature a supermarket, open-air cafes, eateries and specialist retailers.
There will also be short-stay apartments, a rooftop urban farm spanning more than 3600sqm and an “urban green school”, where 17 to 24-year-old students will learn about sustainable food production and urban farming.
