Two Adelaide properties that had been held by the same families for almost 60 years have been snapped up at auction. Taking their houses to auction was more than just a way of selling for two Adelaide families – it marked the end of a 60-year era. It was an emotional farewell for the two families as the Parafield Gardens and Dernancourt properties they had called home for almost six decades were snapped up under the hammer at the weekend.
