Celebrated singer Tian Zhen — known as China’s Tina Turner — is parting ways with her Sydney base, relisting her Point Piper penthouse with a revised price guide of $14m.
In February, the three-bedroom home in the historic Kilmore Estate appeared on the market with $18m expectations.
The internationally-acclaimed soft rock artist, who has sold millions of records throughout her 40-year career, purchased her two-storey 400sq m apartment in 2017 from retired barrister John Gleeson QC and his wife Denise for $11.65 million.

The sales agent, Steven Zoellner of Laing + Simmons Double Bay, who has the listing in conjunction with Michael Pallier of Sotheby’s, says: “This property represents very good value for a 400sqm penthouse with extraordinary views of Sydney Harbour.”
Hers is the largest within the one-time single-residence mansion on Wentworth St. Kilmore Estate was built in 1913 for Sir Alexander MacCormick, one of Australia’s pre-eminent surgeons, then became an RAAF base and a convent.
Businessman Rodney Adler and his wife Lyndi bought the estate in 1999 for $12m, then sold it three years later for $13m.
The period property on a sprawling 6400sq m landholding was later converted into 11 residences.
