The long-time Northern Beaches home of Busways founder Dick Rowe has been sold for $11m. The Morgan family of Whale Beach are set to emerge as the $11m buyers of the Avalon home of Busways founder Dick Rowe. Having bought the land in the 1960s for £4100, Rowe lived in the home from its 1973 construction until his death aged 100 in 2024. He established Rowes Bus Service in 1942 when he was 17.
