AI can speed up listing media, but buyers notice when it is off

Real estate’s AI media problem is quality control—not content volume I have had buyers tell me, after viewing a home, that the kitchen’s color did not match what they saw in the listing photos. We had increased the color intensity and sharpness to make those photographs look better. The intention was to improve the presentation. But the buyer noticed the difference. After more than 20 years working with buyers and sellers, I take that reaction seriously. Once someone starts questioning whether the kitchen looks as advertised, there is a risk that the doubt spreads to the rest of the listing. Why should they trust the other details? That experience shapes how I think about AI-generated property media. I welcome tools that help us present a home well. But a faster way to produce more content is of limited use if the buyer arrives expecting a home we cannot show them.
