AC/DC widow splashes $30m on Ode Double Bay apartments

ACDC rock legend Malcolm Young’s widow, Linda, loves the soon-to-be complete luxury Double Bay apartment block Ode so much she has spent $30m on buying two apartments there. And that’s on top of the $19m she’s spent on another luxe apartment in the Redan Lane project in Mosman. The talk is that Linda bought one of the four-bedders in the Luigi Rosselli-designed Double Bay block by developer Eterno back when it was first offered four years ago, and then splurged on a second more recently. Linda, who has lived in East Balmain and Palm Beach, was married for 38 years to the late founder of the nation’s highest-selling band with more than 200m records sold, so clearly the royalties keep rolling in.
