When it comes to retirement living, Sydney’s north-west is a popular choice for downsizing retirees.

The Cambridge is one of Australia’s tallest vertical retirement communities, featuring 158 apartments across 28 storeys.
Since opening last November, the Epping retirement community is already nearly sold out, reflecting exceptionally strong demand for well-located, well-connected apartment living, according to Mr Kordic.
More than half of its residents have relocated from within 10km of the village.
“Residents are right in the middle of an established suburb, close to the shops, services and routines they’ve often had for years,” says Mr Kordic.
“Many have come from just a few kilometres away, so day-to-day life isn’t disrupted, it just becomes easier to manage.”
Amenities-wise, The Cambridge caters to those wanting urban convenience, without sacrificing connection.
There’s a gym, pool, health and wellness centre, beauty salon, gold class-style private cinema, club-style bar, community centre, alfresco and rooftop dining, and games room, plus it’s only a 250m walk to Epping Station.
The Epping Grand Care Community by Opal HealthCare is co-located onsite, offering peace of mind and added convenience for those staying close to loved ones in high-level care.

Hills Showground is a new community in the heart of the Hills precinct in Castle Hill, with strong early sales momentum and immediate customer uptake at launch.
Featuring 224 apartments across five mid-rise buildings, Hills Showground will include a clubhouse with bar and dining spaces, concierge service, gold class-style cinema and games room, heated indoor pool and gym, residents' workshop, barbecue and alfresco dining, hair salon, and pet-friendly design.

Oatlands: Rare golf course living with village support
Oatlands is one of the very few Sydney retirement communities built on an 18‑hole golf course, with peaceful greenery and expansive views.
There’s a mix of 122 two- and three-bedroom apartments across four buildings, plus 13 townhouses with private lift access.
Apartments are positioned to maximise views over the golf course, while maintaining privacy, appealing to golfers and non‑golfers alike who value space and outlooks.
