3 days ago 3

If you're dreaming of a unique home, work with the nation’s largest home builder to bring your vision to life.

Committed to design excellence, Metricon homes reflect the values and evolving needs of contemporary Australian families, emphasising comfort, energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

With a nearly 50-year history of building homes across Australia, Metricon has earned a reputation as a go-to for buyers seeking contemporary, high-quality homes.

Their individualised approach highlights the builder’s commitment to thoughtfully designed homes that stand the test of time.

“As the future of housing evolves, we are dedicated to creating homes that harmonise with nature, the community, and the individual.

At the core of our design philosophy are three guiding principles: people at heart, harmony in every home, and a passion for better,” said Metricon’s Design Manager, May Pok.

Metricon's design team brings your unique vision to life, skipping the need for an architect.

We spoke to Metricon’s experts to learn how buyers can personalise their homes, ensuring every detail meets their needs while turning their dream into reality.

1. Tailored guidance and cutting-edge design technology

At Studio M, Metricon’s inspiration and design hub, clients are paired with knowledgeable Design Consultants who expertly guide them through every step of the personalisation process.

From bespoke cabinetry and innovative facades to on-trend fixtures, Studio M empowers buyers to align their home with their unique style.

“Modern families expect more than just beautiful homes; they want spaces that feel right.

"When you walk into a Metricon home, we want you to feel inspired, at ease, and excited about what’s possible.

"Our team ensures a tailored aesthetic that reflects individual preferences, whether for a coastal Hamptons vibe or a sleek, modern look,” said Ms. Pok.

“We’re constantly forecasting trends, which is reflected in the significant number of new display homes we’re opening throughout 2025 and beyond.”

Tailor every aspect of your home to suit your style and preferences with guidance from Metricon's visionary team.

2. Efficiency meets comfort, powered by Geosite

Metricon leverages Geosite, its proprietary technology, to provide data-driven, real-time advice on optimising home designs for climate, site orientation, and energy performance.

Every home adheres to rigorous environmental standards, exceeding systems like Green Star and NatHERS, and achieves a 7-star energy rating across all orientations.

Open-plan living—a Metricon hallmark—enhances flow and functionality while maximising natural light and ventilation.

Features like double glazing and advanced window frames ensure homes stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

“A key focus is spatial planning and orientation to create functional, energy-efficient homes,” said Ms. Pok. “We future-proof finishes and fixtures to ensure long-term usability as families evolve.”

Metricon homes are energy-efficient and environmentally responsible, featuring state-of-the-art spatial planning and materials.

3. Stylish, budget-savvy solutions

With over 100 home designs, Metricon pairs choice with financial pragmatism.

“We help buyers navigate government grants like the First Home Owner Grant and stamp duty concessions,” said Dave Shorten, Metricon’s General Manager of NSW.

“Our low-deposit house and land packages, tailored to different states, make entering the market achievable without compromising on style.”

Metricon’s More Love Celebration offers up to $70,000 in NSW* to spend on luxuries at Studio M—from finishes to fittings—for a $10,000 buy-in.

Meanwhile, the ReadyStart Program provides fast-tracked, fixed-price home and land packages at Bingara Gorge in southwest Sydney, with savings up to $158,000^ and move-in readiness in ~26 weeks.

Achieve a unique living space without sacrificing efficiency or budget with Metricon's designs.

4. Floorplan optimisation

Across its 100-plus designs, Metricon crafts layouts for functionality and lifestyle, while offering personalisation of internal spaces.

Buyers often assume large builders lack flexibility, but Metricon proves tailored floorplans are possible without budget blowouts.

Smart placement of kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms optimises movement and light, while ample storage keeps homes organised.

“We listen closely to buyers to align homes with their lifestyles,” said Ms. Pok. “Whether it’s a compact block or sprawling estate, we ensure every square metre serves a purpose.”

Smart floorplan optimisation ensures functionality and lifestyle integration in every Metricon design.

“Many people think that working with a larger builder means compromising on personalisation and design flexibility, but at Metricon, we prove this wrong by offering tailored floorplans that maximise space and meet individual needs.

"Our goal is to show that quality and personalisation can go hand-in-hand, regardless of the scale,” said Ms Pok.
