Controversial British weight loss reality television star Galia Grainger – also known as “Slim Reaper” – and self-proclaimed diet dominatrix known for her no-nonsense approach on reality television has listed her South West England estate for less than AU$2m

The 11-bedroom, 12-bathroom mansion called “Merlin Court” has a price guide of offers over AU$1.73m (GB£895,000).

Notorious for her appearance on 2017 program “Extreme Diet Hotel” – she referred to herself as a self confessed “diet dominatrix” – which originally aired on British free-to-air network Channel 4.

Grainger then went onto host “Celebrity Fat Fighter” which aired on TLC featuring a bunch of British celebrities.

She has also helped out celebrities including “The Only Way Is Essex” and “Celebrity Big Brother UK” star, Gemma Collins.

She made headlines after charging £1,200 a week to stay at her weight loss hotel, where she fed people cabbage, called them ‘fatty’ and whipped them with birch leaves.

Famed for that very tough love approach on television, Grainger is now ready to part ways with her opulent South West England home.

Grainger originally purchased the mansion in April 2019, just as the weight of her fame from shows like Extreme Diet Hotel still hung in the air.

The home built in the mid-to-late 19th century includes high ceilings and sash windows alongside modern amenities.

Grainger converted the cellar of the property into a well-equipped gym.

According to the property’s listing through agency Strutt & Parker said the estate is perched in an idyllic seaside town.
