Trail district buys railroad land for $3M extension after 6 years of negotiations

Great Rivers Greenway had been negotiating with Union Pacific Railroad and federal officials for the last six years in an effort to convince the railroad to officially abandon a small portion of land that will be turned into the greenway extension.
