Choosing paint colours and materials is one of the easiest ways to make your new home feel truly yours.

For first-time buyers, it’s also one of the most exciting parts of the journey — imagining how your future home will look and feel.

Whether you’re inspired by current trends or looking for something a little more traditional, it can be an extra step to picture how things will work together.

Homebuyers Centre WA makes the style journey easier with Homebuyers Go — a simple, stress‑free way to style your home using a range of expertly designed, pre‑selected colour schemes.

These colour schemes go beyond paint swatches, bringing together benchtops, cabinetry and flooring so everything works beautifully as a whole.

By choosing a curated colour scheme, buyers don’t have to guess what works with what — the hard decisions are already done for them.

Chelsea Evans, Home Collective Consultant, knows how nerve-wracking the design process can be.

“We can ensure peace of mind [for buyers] by providing a by providing a much easier process," she says.

Choosing an interior style is much easier with expert help and curated colour palettes.

Style inspiration: Six timeless palettes buyers are loving

With Homebuyers Go, Homebuyers Centre WA has teamed up with design experts to create each of the colour palettes.

“With our colour schemes being expertly curated by our Interior Decorator Tarina Wood of @oh.eight.oh.nine, customers are able to choose one that reflects their own personal style; whether they’re after a coastal inspired home or are looking for more contemporary elements,” says Homebuyers Centre Sales Development Manager Sharelle Page.

There are six colour palettes to choose from, each designed to give buyers peace of mind while ensuring every selection feels cohesive and considered.

Each Homebuyers Go palette has been designed by expert interior decorator Tarina Wood.

1. Oasis

Inspired by sunny days and laid‑back beachside living, Oasis is ideal for buyers chasing a coastal feel.

“This colour scheme blends warm beige tones, crisp whites, and the soothing grain of oak wood, ideal for anyone looking for that laid-back, zen-like atmosphere,” says Ms Evans.

2. Jasper

Bold and striking, the Jasper colour palette embraces a monochrome look for a clean, cohesive and minimalist feel.

“Ideal for lovers of timeless, high-contrast palettes, Jasper will bring sophistication to any space,” says Ms Evans.

3. Haven

Calming and neutral, Haven offers a refined style that feels relaxed without overwhelming the space.

“The Haven colour scheme, with its soothing blend of neutral greys, whites, and cozy timber tones, transforms your space into a tranquil haven where time seems to slow down,” says Ms Evans.

Inside and out, the Haven palette is tranquil with neutral tones and earthy accents.

4. Florence

Inspired by the landscapes and architecture of Tuscany, Florence pairs creamy greys with natural oak timber to create a warm, inviting retreat.

“With its earthy Mediterranean-inspired hues, the Florence colour scheme radiates warmth that makes you want to linger a little longer,” says Ms Evans.

5. Manhattan

Channelling New York’s iconic style, Manhattan blends industrial chic with modern urban living, featuring charcoal woodgrain and sleek light‑grey cabinetry.

“Manhattan promises to transform your home into a stylish urban sanctuary that’s both bold and welcoming,” says Ms Evans.

A palette like Manhattan is perfect for buyers looking for a more sleek and refined style.

6. Bardot

Luxurious and modern, Bardot is a go‑to choice for buyers dreaming of a more sophisticated look.

“Picture soft neutrals like light, warm greys and a touch of white sheen cabinetry,” says Ms Evans.

“The pièce de résistance – a stunning dark floor that anchors the whole look with a touch of drama.”

How choosing curated colours can help

The best colour schemes are designed to last, outliving fleeting trends and giving buyers confidence their home will still look stylish for years to come.

“The guesswork is taken out, and you can be confident that your selections, both internal and external will look cohesive once you get the keys to your new home,” says Ms Evans.

At Homebuyers Centre WA, the ease and simplicity goes even further, as Homebuyers Go makes the process as easy as one, two, three: choose your home design, façade and colour scheme.

From her experience in the selections centre, Ms Evans said that more and more customers are using Homebuyers Go due to its easy three-step process.

“Once they’ve experienced our interactive space, their opinions change and they move from wanting to take the traditional path with a selections consult to Homebuyers Go, because all of the hard work is done for them,” she says.
