The Block winners Britt and Taz have revealed the $1.41m WA hobby farm they quietly bought months before telling fans.

The former police officers, who walked away from The Block 2025 with $520,000 after winning the Daylesford season, bought the acreage property at North Yunderup in WA on February 4, property records show.

Their new home is a six-bedroom, three-bathroom Tudor-style residence with fenced paddocks, a sand horse track, workshops, sheds, stables and a pool.

Photos show red patterned carpet, exposed brick walls, a timber kitchen, built-in bars, retro bathrooms, heavy beams and castle-style detailing that could make the property one of the couple’s biggest renovation challenges yet.

Britt and Taz revealed the purchase to their 67,000 Instagram followers, saying they had spent 10 years searching for “a little farm near the ocean”.

The couple said they knew the property was right for them despite the work ahead.

“Not because she was perfect, she’s over 40 years old and in desperate need of love, but because we could see everything she could become,” they wrote.

“This is more than just a house … It’s the beginning of something so much bigger.

“A dream lifestyle. A major transformation. A vision we cannot wait to bring to life.”

The listing described the 1981-built residence as a “timeless Tudor” home on more than 2.24ha, with soaring ceilings, exposed timber beams, ornate plasterwork and feature light fittings.

It also noted the original stables and tack shed were ready to be revived “with a little vision”.

That vision is now set to come from one of the country’s most watched renovation couples.

Britt and Taz became the first WA team to win The Block after their Daylesford house sold for $3.41m at auction.

Their House 3 was the standout result of the 2025 finale, selling $420,000 above its $2.99m reserve.

The result handed them the $100,000 winner’s prize on top of their auction profit, bringing their total winnings to $520,000.

The couple’s Daylesford build centred on a “modern organic luxury” and wellness theme, including a controversial Pilates studio that divided the judges during the series.

While the decision to sacrifice a rumpus room was criticised as too niche for the multimillion-dollar market, the gamble ultimately helped set the home apart from its rivals.

Their latest purchase suggests they have not lost their appetite for a property with strong before-and-after potential.

The North Yunderup acreage is a long way from their polished Daylesford build, with bold 1980s interiors, a dated timber kitchen, retro bathrooms and heavy Tudor detailing throughout.

But it also has the bones renovators chase: acreage, stables, a pool, dramatic interiors, multiple living areas, workshops and space for a young family to grow into.

The property is about 2km from the Kwinana Freeway entry, 2.9km from the North Yunderup boat ramp and the banks of the Murray River, and less than 10km from the Mandurah foreshore.

Britt and Taz also revealed the sold-board photo used in their Instagram announcement had actually been taken months earlier, and later used as part of an April Fools joke.

“And for those who remember our April Fools joke … surprise, this was actually the real photo we took the day we bought it, months ago,” they wrote.

The property had been marketed through Realmark Mandurah agent Simon Wroth under a set-date sale campaign.

Mr Wroth was contacted for comment.
