The Block serial buyer Danny Wallis is selling his Queensland investment property which he has generously let a family live in free of charge during the years he has owned it.
The three bedroom, two bathroom home in bayside Brisbane, at 21 Raeburn Street, Manly, has already garnered offers to buy it in barely two weeks it has been on the market, sales agent Marc Sorrentino, from Sorrentino Property – Manly said.
Mr Wallis, who is well known for spending more than $30 million on The Block properties, is dedicated to charity work and Mr Sorrentino said when he met with him about selling the home, he lit up when they discussed his passion.
“He's very, he's very much focused on kids with cancer, families that have got kids with cancer,” he said.
“He loves animals. We started talking about dogs and next minute he is pulling out his phone showing me the photos of his dogs.”

Mr Sorrentino said Mr Wallis told him he owned about 50 properties, and he suspected that he bought this property with a purpose.
“I don't think that he bought the property and then thought, ‘Okay, what am I going to do with it?’ he said.
“I got the impression, from the bits that I know of him, that there was probably a need for someone (who needed a place to live), because it's the only property he's got in Queensland.”

The character home has the ability to add more rooms under the main house as the previous owners had raised the lower level to a legal height, and it is connected by internal stairs, with a cement slab already in place for future extension if the new owners wish.
Inside, there are high ceilings, polished-timber floorboards, decorative, ornate breezeways, stained-glass windows and large bedrooms.

“Manly is really highly sought after and very, very tightly held,” Mr Sorrentino said.
“It's a really nice community. So the first thing is, Manly is a popular suburb.
“The other thing with this one is, it faces the park, so it's a really nice outlook.”
