A sprawling 23.7-acre rural estate featuring its own professional skate park has hit the market, with its listing agent calling it a “teenager’s or young kid’s paradise”.
The home at 64 Cabbage Gum Rd, Cudgera Creek affords an active outdoor lifestyle combined with respite.
Sitting in elevated rainforest surrounds in the Tweed Shire, the residence is selling in an Expressions of Interest campaign via Jamie Wilmen and Jesse Wilmen of Raine & Horne Pottsville Beach and Cabarita Beach.
Mr Wilmen said the skate park was put in roughly two homeowners ago.
“Their young one’s a really good skater so they went to the expense of putting that in for him,” he said.

“It was done a fair while ago now so I don’t think the cost would be relevant today.
“I wouldn’t like to be building it today that’s for sure with the amount of concrete that has gone into it.
“The current family are all surfers and skaters as well so that’s a bit of an attraction for them.”
Mr Wilmen said the sales team had identified the skate park inclusion as a particular point of interest for potential buyers the last time the home was listed for sale.
“We probably realised last time around when we were selling it that a lot of the traffic was coming from there. That’s why we headed it (the listing) up with the skate park photo as a point of difference,” he said.
“It’s a teenager’s or young kid’s paradise really.”

Other inclusions catering to an outdoor lifestyle include a combined basketball and tennis court, swimming pool, eight-person spa and a semi self-contained studio complete with a gymnasium, kitchenette and bathroom.

The acreage, usable for horses, boasts a spring-fed dam, established fruit trees, farm sheds and a penthouse chicken coop.
According to Mr Wilmen, similar properties range from the $3m to $5m price tag.
“Your generic sort of larger property of this nature would generally start at about $3m,” he said.
