Injured Sydney Swans star Errol Gulden is making the move closer to the SCG.
The 23-year All-Australian has bought in Swans heartland, Paddington, paying $4.3m for a modernised, 1890s Victorian terrace.
The recently refreshed two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is just a kilometre from the Swans’ Moore Park headquarters.

It was marketed as a “sanctuary in the city” by Sotheby agents Maclay Longhurst and Marcus Abraham.
The home features three separate limestone-clad alfresco areas – one an atrium allowing light into the open plan living, kitchen and dining space.

The home has classic Victorian terrace features, French oak floorboards, high ceilings and an iron lace balcony at the front.
It last sold for $1.7m in 2011.
Originally from Maroubra, Gulden retains ownership of a house in Matraville. He bought the four-bedroom duplex for $2.6m through Cameron Airlie of NG Farah in 2021, the same year he started at the Swans.

It was the year he won the AFLPA best first-year player award and was nominated for the 2021 AFL Rising Star award.
In 2023 he won the Bob Skilton Medal, the most prestigious award a player can receive at the Sydney Swans.
Gulden has been on the sidelines after dislocating his right shoulder in the round 1 match against the Brisbane Lions, and has had to reconstruct the shoulder.
