An “irreplaceable” double block on one of the most popular stretches of beach on the Gold Coast has hit the market with a $17.5m price tag.

Described as an iconic beachfront opportunity on North Burleigh Headland, two properties at 1-3 Kelly Ave, Miami are listed for sale.

The 810 sqm block includes two titles with 80m of frontage and panoramic beach and coast views.

Stone Real Estate’s Shaun Darcy is marketing the property and seeking offers over $17.5m.

The listing states there are endless possibilities for the corner block including building a trophy home, duplex or luxury apartments.

Sellers Francis and Michele Errera designed and built the retreat 20 years ago — the quirky beachfront property quickly become a local icon and attracted plenty of attention when it hit the market earlier this year.

Buyers are willing to pay a premium for large land holdings in prime positions on the Gold Coast with a flurry of recent mega sales.

Last month a buyer splashed a record $26m for a 993 sqm vacant holding at 139-141 Hedges Ave, Mermaid Beach.

In April, another buyer dropped $10m on a “once-in-a-lifetime” 1600sq m parcel of land at 85 Admiralty Drive, Paradise Waters.

PropTrack data shows house prices in Miami were up 7.9 per cent over the past 12 months to a median of $1.565m.
