The vendors — a couple from the UK — paid $1.455m for the property in December but have decided to relocate due to work commitments.
“They bought it in December and have spent almost $30,000 on it and obviously with stamp duty, they just want to get their money back,” Mr Day said.
“They were used to houses with a lot of character in the UK and that’s what drew them to this property in the first place.
“They were looking for months on end and when they saw this one, they said ‘we love it’.”

“We have the first open home this weekend and have already had a handful of inquiries and off-market buyers run their eyes over the property,” Mr Day said.
