September Madison area home prices
- The price per square foot dipped slightly from $250 in September of 2024 to $249 in September of 2025, down three-tenths of a percent.
- The median price increased from $462,500 to $482,000, up 4 percent.
- The average price moved higher from $535,468 to $550,768, up 3 percent.
Year-to-date home prices through August
- The price per square foot grew from $241 in the first 9 months of 2024 to $253 in the first 9 months of 2025, an increase of 5 percent.
- The year-to-date median price edged higher from $479,900 to $482,000 -- up four-tenths of a percent.
- The year-to-date average price grew from $540,354 to $565,366, an increase of 5 percent.
