National property group Traders In Purple has fast-tracked the launch of the final stage of its oceanfront $119m Tydal apartments on the Moreton Bay peninsula by more than a year, to meet significant buyer demand.
The coastal-luxe Tydal Oceana features 71 premium two- and three-bedroom apartments, with ocean, hinterland and local views, and is anticipated to lure buyers from across Brisbane, Pine Rivers and Moreton Bay.
Its release follows the success of the first building, Tydal Sands, where more than 85 per cent of the 104 apartments have already sold, and construction is in full swing by the developer’s in-house construction team. Construction of Tydal Oceana will begin this year with completion set for late 2027.
Both buildings will rise on one of the most elevated sites in Woody Point – and one of its most historic.
Traders In Purple has fast-tracked the launch of the final stage of its oceanfront $119m Tydal Oceana apartments at Woody Point.
The 6900sq m parcel formerly housed the Palace Hotel, the launch pad for the Bee Gees, who played their first paid gig at the venue before going on to sell more than 220 million records. The Palace Hotel was demolished following a fire in 2013.
Traders In Purple chief executive Brett Robinson said the fast-tracked release of Tydal Oceana would meet continued demand from buyers looking to secure a position in the growing Moreton Bay region, just 40 minutes from the Brisbane CBD.
“The Traders team has been instrumental in the significant urban renewal of the Moreton Bay peninsula for more than a decade,” he said.
“In that time, it’s undergone an incredible transformation while remaining somewhat of a hidden gem, and retaining its charming, laid-back coastal vibe.
The Tydal Oceana development will deliver 71 premium two- and three-bedroom apartments with ocean, hinterland and local views.
“Despite strong price growth and demand, it’s also still relatively affordable compared with other beachside locations in the southeast, making it popular with those wanting to enjoy the region’s famed coastal lifestyle.
“Tydal Oceana occupies one of the best locations on the peninsula, elevated to capture both ocean and hinterland views, providing a rare chance to secure a new apartment by the water in this sought-after area.
“Our reputation as one of the longest established and most experienced developers in Moreton Bay, means we’ve also been fortunate to have many repeat purchasers within our projects and anticipate Tydal Oceana will be no different.
“We have a track record of completing 100 per cent of the projects we launch – not just here, but right along the eastern seaboard – and are committed to delivering an exceptional living experience.”
Construction on Tydal Oceana is underway with completion set for late 2027.
Designed by Ellivo Architects, and complemented with native landscaping by Arcadia, Tydal Oceana is inspired by the surrounding coastline, with soft curves that emulate ripples in the water, a natural colour palette and resort-style facilities.
Ranging from 117sq m to 201sq m, apartments boast features including balconies, luxurious bathrooms, full-height windows to capture views and high ceilings to optimise light and breezes. First level apartments include terraces, measuring up to 74sq m, for ultimate indoor-outdoor living.
Residents will also have access to facilities including a pool, sun lounges, outdoor shower, barbecues with outdoor dining, car wash, and reflection areas set among landscaping. Two-bedroom apartments at Tydal Oceana start from $950,000 and three-bedroom apartments from $1.12m.
