Logie award-winning TV host and landscape designer Jamie Durie toured a Queensland prize home and says while there is something for the entire family, he can’t go past the gardens.
The Seven presenter recently travelled to Eumundi, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland to check out Mater Prize Home’s latest $4.6m prize package.

Mr Durie is a former presenter of shows including Backyard Blitz, The Block, Australia’s Best Backyards, The Outdoor Room and The Living Room.
He also starred as judge on the renovation series House Rules and as a The Masked Singer Australia contestant, in 2022.
Growing Home with Jamie Durie is his latest television program, a series in which Durie documented building his family home sustainable and off-grid.

Mater Prize Home draw 319 also includes a Toyota Prado Kakadu, Cub Cadet ZTS1 46 Lawn Mower and $100k in gold bullion.
The prize home in Eumundi is within minutes of the Sunshine Coast’s most popular attractions, including Noosa Heads, Peregian Beach, and the Eumundi Markets.
Mater Prize home has the estimated rental return at $182,000 per year if the home is left furnished or $130,000 per year unfurnished.
PropTrack data reveals the median house price in Eumundi is $1,256,250, down 4.8 per cent over 12 months while the median rental price is $750 per week, down 8.5 per cent over 12 months.
