Ricky and Haydn have been best friends for 20 years and are taking on The Block as their next adventure.

The two larrikins from Victoria seem poised to become this season’s resident pranksters; the pair have been seen wearing fish shoes instead of work boots multiple times around the island. Though the unique footwear is probably not up to health and safety standards, we’re sure these two will bring plenty of laughs this season.
Ricky and Haydn were also caught loading a kayak onto the roof of a car – hopefully, these two won’t be too distracted by Phillip Island’s famous surf beaches and manage to complete their house on time. They might however be distracted by the arrival of a Block baby!

Ricky, 34, Plumber
Ricky is a plumber, so we’re expecting to see him on the tools this season. He runs his own business, so looking after multiple projects is easy – but we’ll be interested to see how this plumber goes with styling, especially if Haydn has to step away from The Block.
Haydn, 37, IT manager
The Block hasn’t come at the perfect time for Haydn, but it was an experience too good to pass up. The IT manager will need to step away from The Block for a bit – with his wife due to give birth just weeks into filming.
Style and experience
Ricky has previously renovated his apartment but managed to blow the budget by about $70,000.
In terms of style, the boys plan to bring some of their unique fashion to House 3 which should make things interesting, to say the least.
