The sale price of the Outback Wrangler’s Top End home has been revealed, as a court case relating to the property remains ongoing.
Real estate records show the 3.15ha property at 124 Virginia Rd, Virginia, sold for $1.3m in October.
The home was listed as “under offer” on realestate.com.au on August 28, the day before Matt Wright was found guilty on two of three counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice in relation to a fatal helicopter crash.
The property settled in October as the reality TV star continued to face separate charges relating to violating the NT Planning Act by using the Virginia home as an unauthorised landing strip for his helicopters.

Property records show Wright and his wife, Kaia, bought the rural home for $875,000 in January 2017 and listed it for sale in February 2025 after a total renovation.
The home began as a typical Darwin elevated, but post-renovation it featured four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a wide use of timber, concrete and glass.
High-end finishes including Taj Mahal stone and quartzite benchtops, venetian plaster and Murano glass.
Towards the end of the sales campaign, Wright offered to include a resident 4.5m saltwater croc named ‘Spicy’ in the sale.
“If you really, really want the place, I’ll even leave ya with Spicy,” Wright said in an Instagram reel posted at the start of August.
“If you really want the place, you get him with it.”

During the online video, Wright gave a tour of the “cracking place” with commentary.
He proudly showed off his crazy pave driveway – twice.
“Look at those amazing crazy paves – heart, sweat and tears went into that,” he said.
And revealed a view of a croc pen from his upstairs balcony.
“That’s where the big dog hangs out, down there,” he said.
Wright invited his followers to an open home on the following Sunday – though not everyone was welcome.
“There is a home invasion this weekend,” he said
“You’re welcome to come on the Sunday.
“One condition – no media or tyre kickers.
“We don’t want them kicking around.”

Wright shot to fame on reality program Outback Wrangler, which showcased his work as a helicopter pilot and croc catcher in some of Australia’s remote regions.
In February 2022, Wright’s co-star and mate Chris Wilson died in a helicopter crash while on a job collecting crocodile eggs in the NT.
The pilot, 28-year-old Sebastian Robinson, suffered permanent injuries as a result of the accident.
Wright was later charged by NT Police in relation to the fatal crash with three counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Wright plead not guilty to all charges. He was found guilty on two counts. He said he would appeal the decision.
NT News reported in September 2024 Wright was also facing charges of breaching the NT Planning Act for commuting to and from his Virginia property by helicopter.
It was alleged Wright continued to fly his helicopters over the semirural area, despite an explicit ruling from the Northern Territory Civil and Administrative Tribunal in late 2023
In October it was reported the Apple TV and Netflix star would plead guilty to the charges.
The matter was adjourned until November 21.
