REMAX posts Q2 net loss of $4.3 million amid Real acquisition

REMAX Holdings Inc. reported lower revenue and earnings in the second quarter of 2026 as the franchisor prepares to be acquired by The Real Brokerage. The Denver-based company said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Thursday that total second-quarter revenue fell 5.8% year over year to $68.5 million. Revenue excluding its marketing funds declined 5.1% to $51.7 million, reflecting negative organic revenue growth of 5.1% and flat foreign currency impacts. Additionally, REMAX posted a net loss attributable to the company of $4.3 million. The firm is not holding an earnings call with investors and analysts due to the impending acquisition. The company’s total agent count edged up 1.5% from a year earlier to 149,267 agents worldwide, according to the filing. But in the U.S. and Canada, where REMAX historically generates most of its system revenue, combined agent count fell 2.2% to 72,968.
