Jaci loves the proximity to the dog-friendly beach, where she enjoys spending time with her dogs.
“It’s just beautiful to be able to walk straight out front and walk down on to the beach,” she said.
“It’s probably Townsville’s best kept secret and the locals are all very friendly.
“Nearby there’s Althaus Creek where you can launch boats and jet skis.
“I’ve had a jet ski since I’ve lived there and it’s been great just to anchor out the front, get back on the jet ski and go for a bit of a ride.”

With stairs becoming an issue for Jaci’s elderly parents, they’re looking to move to something more practical in the Townsville area for easier access to medical services.
“That’s the only reason that we’re selling, otherwise, I’d stay there forever,” Jaci said.
She hopes the next owner will get as much enjoyment out of living there as she has, and enjoy the beauty of Saunders Beach.
