South Sydney Rabbitohs captain Cameron Murray and his fiancee Miranda Cross have put a $4.3m asking price on their recently completed resort-style duplex investment offering in Matraville.
The stunning five-bedroom duplex with extensive use of travertine, marble and oak was designed by architect Walter Barda, who is known for his trophy homes across pricey Sydney.
Murray and Cross, who have been together for a decade and engaged since 2023, paid $3.1m for an original four-bedroom home with a pool on its 740sq m block in 2022.
They moved into their new home late last year with daughter Avalon and now they’re selling the next door offering.

During the recent marketing campaign, the family welcomed their second daughter, Lulu.
They listed the property through NG Farah agents Cameron Airlie and Conor Howard in February with a scheduled March 28 pre-Easter auction date.
They gave an initial $4m guide for the three-level home which was nudged up to $4.2m.
The auction date was rescheduled to April 18, but scrapped midweek with buyers advised of its now-$4.3m asking price.
“Things are just taking a little bit longer to sell as the heat’s come out of the market,” Mr Airlie said.

Four of the five bedrooms are upstairs, including a master with an ensuite, a walk-in wardrobe and a balcony. A lift connects the top level to the lower ground floor, which is set up as an open-plan rumpus room and gym.
There is a breezeway on entry which flows to the dining, kitchen and living area with a gas fireplace, a marble bullnose island, a cocktail bar and a garden atrium. The living space opens to an alfresco patio with built-in BeefEater barbecue. Outdoors there’s also a landscaped lawn and a mineral pool.

Blending within its irrigated landscaping on the 365sq m lot, the facade features charred Japanese timber and sandstone.
The 28-year-old, who played his junior footy at Mascot Jets, is under contract with the Rabbitohs until the end of the 2028 season.
Murray was a first-home buyer in 2019 when he spent $1.25m on a
two-bedroom apartment in Clovelly. The second-rower sold it just over
12 months ago for $2.2m.
