A late homeowner’s final act has turned a Queensland property auction into a nationwide lifeline, with every dollar raised funding vital crisis care and community support services.
The property, in Brisbane’s Wavell Heights is a treasured, original post-war home, on the market for the first time.
Located at 37 Beeby St, the property is being sold as a deceased estate, with the late owner making the compassionate gesture by naming a nationwide, non-profit organisation as the benefactor in their will.

The three-bedroom home is being marketed by Ray White Rochedale agents Jason Song and Ken Chin and is set to go under the hammer on July 22.
“In a heartwarming twist of philanthropy, 100 per cent of the proceeds from the upcoming auction will be disbursed to branches across Australia, funding vital crisis care, relief services, and community support networks for everyday individuals facing hardship,” said Mr Chin, who declined to publicly name the charity.
