Missed out on winning last years St John Ambulance lottery house?
Well, now you have the chance to own it as the home’s lucky winner Travis sells the Semaphore South Samuel James Homes-built property he says is incredible, but surplus to his needs.
“It was December 17th that I was told I had won,” Travis says.
“It was a complete shock – I’d only bought the one ticket and had completely forgotten about the lottery because it’s always been more of a donation to St John really, so I’d not really thought about it.

“But it is an incredible home and I was blown away by the news.
“Because of my kids I’ve not been able to stay in it full-time, so it’s still effectively a brand new home and still has that new home smell to it, and all the furniture in there is still brand new.
“I’m an electrician by trade and the build quality on this one, and the finish of it, is fantastic. “The first time I went there I walked through, and nothing creaks, everything’s solid and it’s all perfect.
“I can’t fault it. The quality is just incredible.
“Plus the rooms are bright and lovely. I love it, I’m just not going to be able to use it so it makes sense it goes to someone who will.”

Despite not living in it, Travis has spent the occasional weekend at the Esplanade property, enjoying it with friends and family.
“That location is incredible,” he says.
“You’ve got this nice little historic train out the front in summer, and when you open up the big doors you get this fantastic sea breeze through the home, and it’s been great to sit out there on the veranda with some mates and have a few drinks.

“You’ve got Shelly’s kiosk just across the road as well, so we cruise down there and get something to eat, and I’m a keen trail runner, so I love that there are running tracks all the way along the esplanade to both the left and the right.
“The best thing about this place though is its size.
“You can have a barbecue outside and cook while you look over the pool and because it actually has a decent sized backyard with lawn, you can spill out into the garden, so you could have lots of people over and not feel cramped.”
The home offers some 480.7sqm of living space over its three lift-serviced levels and has four bedrooms, open-plan living, Japandi styling, a retreat, a terrace with outdoor kitchen; a heated pool and a home theatre.
Travis says he is more than happy to negotiate with buyers looking to purchase the home’s stunning furniture.
“It’s a wonderful home and I truly hope that someone else really enjoys it,” Travis says.
“It offers such a relaxing lifestyle.”
