The couple are looking for buyers for their former Townsville home which has been listed seeking offers over $1,998,000. They paid $1,405,000 for the 1900 home in 2023.
Its purchase came after he sold at Townsville City for $1.15m, having paid $1.1m in late 2019 after he had signed with the Cowboys, having previously sought to secure a permanent spot with the New York Jets in the 2019 NFL season.
The home is in North Ward, a coastal suburb of Townsville where Holmes was born.
It has Queenslander-style details including timber floors, fretwork and wraparound veranda.

“We love Queenslanders and homes with character,” Natalia Holmes told the local paper.
“The high ceilings feel so grand, particularly in the formal dining room and bedrooms, while the big ceiling-height windows fill the room with natural lighting.
“We did have big plans to renovate and that was actually going to start the week before we moved.”

The couple listed the home as a $1200-a-week rental after their relocation back to Sydney, after Holmes signed a three-year deal with the Red V.
The 30-year-old Holmes has since spoken about the heartbreak of not being able to finish his career in North Queensland after facing a $500,000 pay cut to remain at the Cowboys.
During his absence, Qld Maroons star Holmes retained an investment apartment, a two-bedroom apartment in the Woolooware Bay precinct, amid the 700 apartments developed around Shark Park.
Holmes’ apartment cost $810,000 when completed in 2016, just before he was a premiership winner as winger with the Sharks.
