Leading real estate agent Jeremy Wiesner hopes he might enjoy first mover advantage in what has become a wave of big name rival agents setting up in Dubai.
Since mid-2025, the Wiesner Property founder, who’s coming back and forth, has had 25 clients secure property, based on the allure of up to 12 per cent investment returns.
“Bondi Beach on steroids,” he has dubbed Dubai.

Wiesner has been joined in the shifting desert sand dunes by Gavin Rubinstein, Monika Tu and Marty Fox, who have now all set up in the emirates, and sparked speculation of a global real estate series.
Industry veterans suggest there is a strong prospect of some of the new office ventures having all the futile hallmarks of the egotistical Hong Kong expansions of past decades, starting with Andrew Gibbons in the late 1980s.
“The Middle East Black Diamondz is now officially registered in the UAE,” Double Bay agent Monica Tu posted recently on social media.

Dubai was “the world’s new energy centre, no longer just a transit region on our way to Europe,” she advised.
The Rose Bay-based Rubinstein, and cast member of the shuttered series, Luxe Listings Sydney, has relocated Matt Kemeny to lead TRG’s Dubai expansion.
Meanwhile, the Melbourne based Marty Fox has opened his Dubai serviced office space, anticipating $500m in first-year sales.
“I have the ability to unlock a country in under four days,” he said.

Fox has also finally expanded into Sydney’s east.
He’d been seeking a Double Bay dynamo, but hired Clay Brodie from BresicWhitney Eastern Beaches.
