Nearly 200 luxury apartments are coming to a key Olympics district in Brisbane, minutes away from where the high-stakes games will be held.
Consolidated Properties Group (CPG) is preparing to build ‘Gloriette’ in Yeerongpilly Green: a 25-storey tower on King Arthur Tce, featuring 181 units by the Brisbane River.
The building is a short walk from the Queensland Tennis Centre on the same street, which is planned to be the official tennis venue for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Designed by Rothelowman, the building received development approval last year, with construction expected to start by July.

The complex sits on a 4,323 sqm site, with a focus on height to allow for more than 2,000 sqm of greenery.
CPG head of residential James MacGinley said Gloriette’s name was inspired by the building’s surroundings: the word ‘gloriette’ meaning a structure built on an elevated parkland site.
“Basically the building footprint is about half the size of what could have gone onto the site, which has allowed there to be expansive public gardens around the building,” he said.
“The theme of tall slender towers surrounded by lush garden landscape is something that will be repeated across Yeerongpilly Green.”

The complex is being promoted as the ‘premier’ building of the Yeerongpilly Green precinct: an $850 million masterplanned project, in collaboration with the state government and CVS Lane Capital.
The majority of units will be between two and three bedrooms.
Starting prices for a two-bedroom apartment begin at $1.425m, with a three-bedroom home starting at $2.5m.
Around the top five floors of the building are expected to be for larger prestige units, with details and sales to come at a later date.
Several shared amenities are expected to be included for residents, including a rooftop with a pool and spa, dining and lounge spaces, and a garden.
A wellness centre on level 2 will also include a gym, yoga room, hot and cold plunge pools and a sauna.

Mr MacGinley said the boutique opportunity for downsizers will help to free up available space for homebuyers across the rest of the city.
“We’ve had really good engagement from the existing local [developments], he said, mentioning Tennyson Reach as an example.
“They’re actually referring interested buyers, which has been very cool.
“Our local neighbours have been very supportive of the neighbourhood we’re creating, and just want to see it come to life.”
Hutchinson Builders are expected to be in charge of construction, with a completion anticipated for late 2029.
