Boomers legend Patty Mills mansion-hunting on the Gold Coast
Aussie NBA export Patty Mills is on the hunt for luxury real estate on the Gold Coast, adding weight to rumours of a blockbuster homecoming with the Brisbane Bullets.
Exclusive video footage shows the 37-year-old Boomers champion touring Roca, a stunning new-build on Mermaid Beach’s famed Hedges Ave – known locally as “Multi-Millionaire’s Row”.
Currently based in Hawaii with his wife, Alyssa, the new dad’s property search aligns with mounting speculation he is ready to write his next chapter in the Sunshine State.
Graya director Rob Gray confirmed Mills toured the property, one half of the developer’s Rocabella duplex project, shortly before its completion.

Mr Gray said the five-time Olympian had also expressed interest in a luxury apartment within Kloud, the Palm Beach tower also by Graya, with buyers including Wimbledon legend Ash Barty.
Mr Gray said while the basketballer didn’t elaborate on his sporting status, “it makes sense if he’s looking at property on the Gold Coast that he’s looking at a new chapter.”
“He was looking for a unique property to live in, whether that was to reside in year-round or for part of the year,” he said.

The designer five-bedroom, five-bathroom home was ultimately snapped up for $8.35m within three days of hitting the market after its prior off-the-plan sale collapsed when the buyer missed settlement, bringing the project’s combined sale price to $16.78m. It was marketed by WhiteFox agent, Nic Whitehead.

News of the fan-favourite guard’s mansion hunt comes just weeks after fellow NBL legend Andrew Gaze fuelled the rumour mill with claims Mills would join the Bullets for the 2026/27 NBL season.
Rival NBL clubs Perth Wildcats and Melbourne United are also reportedly in pursuit of securing his Aussie return.

Mills went unsigned ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season and is currently dominating for Spanish club La Laguna Tenerife, leading the team with 17.3 points per game.
Securing a Queensland base, meanwhile, would put the 1,000-game NBA veteran within commuting distance of Brisbane and his advisory role for the city’s 2032 Olympics.
The high-profile inspection comes as Graya capitalises on its coastal success with new local projects including a Burleigh Heads mansion dubbed Clay.
