Now that the show is over, the stars of Married at First Sight have returned to their hometowns, this is where they live and how.

Jacqui Burfoot

Confusion surrounded much of the claims and inferences as to where controversial contestant Jacqui Burfoot lived, lives and will live.

Her supposed home was in Manly on Sydney’s sought-after Northern Beaches but that was revealed to be a ‘fake house’ during the home stays when it was revealed the pad was just an Airbnb being rented for $200 a night.

“Her actual place was a rental apartment with two other housemates,” her MAFS husband Ryan Donnelly confirmed, kind of.

“They couldn’t fit the camera crew in there, her bedroom was tiny, the housemates’ stuff was everywhere and production would’ve had to ask them to leave and stay elsewhere for the filming.”

Jacqui herself said it was a matter of security.

“As a single lady, security and privacy is important to me and my friends. I didn’t feel comfortable opening my home up to all of Australia,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

“Just so you know the ‘apartments’ the couples live in are actually also decorated hotel rooms. Homestays is about getting to know someone in their usual neighbourhood doing usual activities. If you care about the actual homes you should watch a show like The Block, not MAFS lol.”

Burfoot said the place she was renting with friends was worth $2.7m and she had bought elsewhere as a rentvestor. That is she got a foot on the property ladder buying somewhere she could and rented that out while she lived and rented herself where the lifestyle was more to her liking.

It’s now been revealed, she is living in a luxury mansion in Tasmania with fiance Clint Rice, a fellow contestant on the 2025 series of MAFS.

Located on a corner block, the property features tennis court, golf simulator, theatre, gym, bar and entertaining area, paved driveway, stone bench tops, and double vanities.

The businessman’s indoor golf simulator is complete with a large screen and rivals that of multi-level modern apartments.

According to marketing material, the Samsung fingerprint-activated door locks add security to an address that is “well ahead of its time”.

Jamie Marinos

Part of one of the most talked about couples on this year’s show, Jamie Marinos calls Moonee Ponds in inner city Melbourne home. The vibey suburb boasts a cosmopolitan feel with a smattering of parks and the Mooney Valley Racecourse.

Marinos has revealed post-MAFS, she is no longer on speaking terms with her onscreen husband and series bad guy Dave Hand, who also lives in Melbourne.

Awhina Rutene, the 30-year-old single-mum of a six-year-old boy hails from the Western Australia capital of Perth.

Since the show ended filming she has been spotted enjoying time out on popular tourist attraction Rottnest Island, a protected nature reserve just offshore from Perth and known for its quokka population.

Adrian Araouzou

Another Sydneysider, Araouzou runs an e-commerce business which designs and sells sportsbags, based in Roseberry in the inner city, about 10km south of the CBD.

Adrian ‘married’ Awhina in Woolwich, a well-to-do suburb that sits on Sydney Harbour on the North Shore but the 30-year-old who is a part of a large Greek family calls Sydney’s west home.
