Manly champion Tom Trbojevic is selling his Manly Vale investment apartment.

Trbojevic is hoping for a price between $1.23m and $1.27m for the longtime rental that last sought a $830 a week tenant in May 2025.

Sweetnams has the Kenneth Rd listing that cost $895,000 in 2016, when Trbojevic was 20 years old.

The two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment, with two courtyards, sits in a 2009-built block.

Trbojevic has seen a rollercoaster ride as landlord when it comes to asking rentals, according to Cotality data. He kicked off at $760 a week, which dropped to $680 in 2018. It rose to $720 in 2019, then dipped to $700 in 2020 and $725 in 2021.

PropTrack calculates the two-bedroom Manly Vale apartment median at a record $1.25m, up 10 per cent annually after 72 sales.

PropTrack suggests Manly Vale two-bedroom apartments typically rent at $818 a week,

reflecting a gross rental yield of 3.4 per cent.

The apartment was Tom’s first step on the property ladder.

He has since built a strong portfolio, all on the northern beaches where he and his brothers, and Manly teammates, have spent their NRL earnings.

Following the Manly Vale purchase, Tom went on to buy another apartment in Manly Vale, a year later, which cost $1m.

The following year he spent $964,000 on a house and land package in Warriewood, which he sold last year for $2,556,000. This paved the way for his $4.3m purchase of a four-bedroom home with a pool in Collaroy Plateau, with wife Kristi.

The now 29-year old fullback seems set to remain at Brookvale Oval until at least the 2027 season.

The family recently led a civil court off-the-plan property claim against the Melbourne-based J&G Knowles and Associates, as trustee for the Knowles Investment Unit Trust, before Justice Ian Pike in the Supreme Court.

Parents Melissa and John had been intent on buying a $1.795m townhouse.

The family and other purchasers claimed the Knowles Group acted unreasonably in not proceeding to completion after the builder exited the project in 2022.

The project’s sunset clause provided some legal remedy after its expiry in 2023. The matter was settled on undisclosed terms.
