Maddy and Charlotte have entered The Block in dramatic fashion, taking over House 1 after Jesse and Paige quit.

But despite the late call-up, these dynamic sisters appear ready to dive headfirst into the experience.

Despite being the youngest team to ever complete on The Block, Maddy (24) and Charlotte (22) are no reno rookies. The pair are property investors and flippers: buying, renovating and selling property and doing most of the hard work themselves.
They are also no strangers to the camera, documenting their renovation journeys on social media under the name Wise Property (@wiseproperty_ on Instagram).
Style and experience
Maddy and Charlotte have previously renovated regional properties in New South Wales, buying their first home at just 21 and 19 years old respectively, after saving for their deposit by working in accounting and odd jobs including babysitting, tutoring, shifts at Maccas and teaching piano.

The pair handle a lot of the work themselves and aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty which will hopefully save them money to avoid the ever-present Block budget woes.
“Our goal is to create a beautiful home that’s welcoming, warm, comfortable and a special
place for families to make precious memories,” Charlotte said. “We hope to grow as
individuals, push ourselves to our absolute limits, and inspire young people who may also
want to pursue a dream or do something very different.”
Taking over someone else’s house mid-renovation is no easy feat. Will the sisters adjust their style to mesh with the existing renovations or will they re-do all the rooms from scratch?
