Former Member for Southport and legendary ex Australian Rugby League player Mick Veivers and his wife, Betty are selling their sprawling family farm in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
The 19.4ha estate at 616 South West Road, Beechmont is on the market with Lucy Cole of Lucy Cole Prestige Properties.
“It’s a magnificent estate that’s right on a ridge,” Ms Cole said.
“It’s been in the Veivers family since the 1930s where it was previously a dairy farm and it’s also been used for cattle grazing since then.”
The property offers 360 degree views, blending historic charm with modern amenities.
It includes a renovated, three-bedroom timber homestead that’s currently on the short-term rental market.

The homestead has high ceilings, polished wooden floors, French doors, a fireplace, modern appliances, and retro-inspired main bathroom.
There is also a second cottage on the property that’s perfect for a guest suite or gaming room.
For the hobby farming enthusiast, the property offers large sheds with high vehicle access, steel cattle and horse yards with a race, crush, and head bale and a repurposed original dairy shed.
“Whether you’re looking for a serene escape, a thriving business venture, or a sustainable farming operation, this property delivers it all,” the listing states.
The Beechmont estate is going to auction at Lucy Cole’s Alfresco Auction on January 25 alongside 11 other Gold Coast properties.
“We’ve got plenty of different properties including a sky-home at Oracle on the 39th floor, two condos with rooftop terraces in Main Beach, a unit in The Lanes and an apartment in Dune at Main Beach,” Ms Cole said.
The event comes as Ms Cole prepares to celebrate 25 years with her business.
Opening the doors in 2000, Ms Cole said it had been an incredible journey operating Lucy Cole Prestige Properties on the Gold Coast.
“I don’t know where the years have gone but I feel really privileged with the opportunities given to me in this industry,” Ms Cole said.
“Just to see the Gold Coast grow to what it is today and be part of that growth has been amazing.
“My mind is always ticking over on how I can better the business.
“As the only woman in an independent office I think I’ve done really well.
“It’s been blood, sweat and tears as the saying goes but you always pick yourself and go again.
“There’s always something I can do to reinvent myself or the business.”
The Alfresco Auction kicks off from 10.30am at The Oasis, 89 Surf Pde, Broadbeach.
