Aussie tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt and his actress wife Bec have listed their stunning Palm Springs-inspired home, three years after they splurged on the coastal mansion.
Located at Burleigh Heads on Queensland’s Gold Coast, the exquisite Deodar Drive residence is listed with Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty agent Carol Carter said.
On a 539sq m block just 400m from the famed beach, the architecturally-designed dream home is the epitome of indoor-outdoor living.
Publicly-available property records show the golden couple, who have three children, purchased the property for $4.305 million in 2021, with median home values in the coveted suburb soaring a whopping 34.7 per cent since then.
“Nestled on one of the most desirable streets in Burleigh Heads, it’s easy to see why this location and lifestyle is so sought-after,” the listing, which is due to go live on realestate.com.au today, says.
“Start your day with a stroll to the beach for a refreshing surf or swim, stopping by Commune for a coffee and organic breakfast afterwards.
“Nearby Black Hops Brewery is ideal for a relaxed lunch, with the thriving James St precinct calling for dinner or drinks.”
Built in 2020, the striking residence “broke the internet” before it went to auction in May 2021, attracting more than 500 people on the day.
Back then, it sold for $3.75 million but after living in it for just over a month, the buyers listed it again due to commitments elsewhere and that’s when the Hewitt’s lobbed an offer to good to refuse.
The original owner-designer was JSW Landscape and Design founder Jay Walker and his wife Emma.

Ms Carter said that while the Hewitt’s had spent some time at The Palms, it was not enough.
“That’s the problem,” she said. “They just don’t have time to enjoy it.”
The Insta-worthy home has three sprawling ensuite bedrooms upstairs, including the indulgent master suite with its built-in seating, deluxe custom dressing room and designer ensuite.
There is also a ground floor guest bedroom with ensuite, plus an office with integrated work stations and a powder room.
But it is the heart of the home that truly sings, comprising of an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area that flows on to an outside entertaining area with a sunken fireplace, glass-edged pool and outdoor kitchen.
The showstopper main kitchen boasts a 6m void, a butler’s pantry, designer appliances, three ovens, quality stone bench tops, an integrated fridge/freezer, two wine fridges and adjacent wine cellar.
The living and dining area is home to a traditional flute fireplace, while the upstairs media room has a north-east aspect.
Flawless finishes found throughout the trophy home include Italian Venetian plaster and terrazzo tiles, Santorini Clay stone feature walls, custom Australian brass tapware and American Oak timber floors.
High ceilings also feature, as cavity glass stacker doors and bi-folds to facilitate easy indoor-outdoor living.
There is also low maintenance, lush artificial grass laws, raised planter boxes and irrigated greenery, ducted airconditioning and surround sound systems, a full alarm and security system.
It is also close to good public and private schools, hospitals and the airport.
Ms Carter said Burleigh had a “real buzz”.
“It used to kind of be, yeah, just Burleigh, but it has a real vibe now,” she said.
“It is attracting a whole new demographic and there is so much to do. It has it all.”
Lleyton was a former number one tennis player while Bec was a star on soapie, Home and Away. The couple married in 2005.
