The Stansbury home at 7 Oyster Point Dr is listed with a $790,000 price guide.
Interest in homes across regional SA, particularly along the coast, has surged in recent years, as more people chase affordable properties in idyllic locations.
The Yorke Peninsula town of Stansbury is just one of the areas that’s boomed.
Klemich Real Estate agent Joseph Murdock said the lifestyle on offer and cheap property prices, though climbing, were the key drivers.
“There’s no doubt we’ve seen a real shift in buyer attention towards the Yorke Peninsula in recent years, and Stansbury is a great example of that,” he said.
“Being only a couple of hours from Adelaide, it offers a level of convenience that makes it ideal for both weekenders and those looking for a more permanent lifestyle change.
It has panoramic views of the ocean.
The home has a Hamptons style and is modern throughout.
The open kitchen and living area has views of the ocean.
“Compared to other coastal markets, it’s still relatively well-priced and buyers can secure something right on the water or just a street back without needing an enormous budget.
“A big driver of this has been the broader increase in coastal property prices.
“As areas closer to Adelaide – and interstate – have become more expensive, buyers have naturally started looking further afield.
“The southern Yorke Peninsula, particularly towns like Stansbury, offers that balance of affordability and lifestyle, which is becoming harder to find.”
Latest PropTrack data shows Stansbury’s median house price is $670,000 following 53.7 per cent growth over the past three years and 123.3 per cent over the past five.

Mr Murdock said some waterfront homes and those with quality views were starting to push above the million-dollar mark.
A Hamptons-style residence at 7 Oyster Point Dr is one with sweeping ocean views and an affordable price tag – it has a $790,000 price guide.
Alan Norsworthy bought the two-bedroom property – about two hours from Adelaide – five years ago as a home to retire to.
However, as he now plans to caravan around Australia, he’s decided to sell.
There are two bedrooms inside with an external studio offering a third bedroom.
It has two bathrooms.
The house is on a 1011sqm block.
“We have a beautiful sandy beach along there, and that’s really what attracted me to it,” he said.
“I catch salmon trout right in front of the house, and I can also get squid and crabs out there too – for fishing and kayaking it’s perfect.
“It really is a beautiful spot, and during winter it’s really quiet around the town, but then in summer it really picks up and has a fantastic vibe.”
Mr Norsworthy says he has made a lot of improvements to the home, which also has an external studio that can be used as a third bedroom and a shed for boats and caravans.
But he said its location and outlook would still have to be its strongest selling point.
“To open up the blinds in the morning and look out to that view – it’s beautiful,” he said.
The home will be auctioned at 10am on April 19.
