It is not unusual for property campaign videos to include floorplans, aerial shots, even pets, but a unique Aussie property launching to the market soon has taken its cue from legendary Hollywood director Steven Spielberg.

And the result will transport you back up to 145 million years.

The 21ha Sunshine Coast Hinterland property at 65 Mccarthy Shute Road in Maleny, which is known locally as Jurassic Park, has gone viral thanks to a campaign video featuring photorealistic, AI-generated dinosaurs roaming the property as the iconic Jurassic Park theme song plays in the background.

And featuring in the video are Triceratops, Brontosauruses, a Pliosaurus leaping out of a dam with views to the Glasshouse Mountains, Pterodactyls, and the king of them all, a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Ray White Maleny deployed the tech-forward cinematic narrative to capture global attention for the blank-canvas property, with Ray White Maleny selling agents Joe Hopper and Justin Smith saying the prehistoric theme honours the property’s colourful history.

“The previous custodian famously ran Texas Longhorn cattle, massive buffalo, and deer across the expansive terrain, prompting locals and visitors to fondly dub the land Jurassic Park,” Mr Hopper said.

“Recognising an irreplaceable acreage holding required an equally unforgettable introduction, the team opted to ditch predictable property photography in favour of a bold, tech-forward cinematic narrative.”

Mr Hopper said the digital roar has already translated into massive human curiosity.

“While the property has not yet officially launched to the public market, the exclusive off-market teaser campaign has pulled in over 50,000 views across social media alone,” Mr Hopper said.

“Enquiries are streaming in from a highly diverse buyer pool, spanning local hinterland neighbours, interstate relocators, and qualified overseas buyers tracking rare Australian legacy assets.

“With a name like Jurassic Park, we felt it would have been a missed opportunity not to embrace the story.

“Properties of this calibre are incredibly rare, and it’s unlikely we’ll ever have another opportunity to market a property with a history quite like this.”

We wanted people to stop scrolling, start talking, and become curious enough to discover what Jurassic Park actually is, he said.

“The campaign has done exactly that, proving that sometimes thinking differently can put an extraordinary property in front of far more people than traditional marketing alone,” Mr Hopper said.

The property is a genuine blank canvas and is just minutes from the vibrant heart of Maleny, the massive landholding delivers a rare combination of absolute seclusion and lifestyle convenience.

“Unlike many large-scale acreages, it contains no existing residential structures, sparing the next owner from inheriting someone else’s architectural choices,” Mr Hopper said.

“Instead, the land is optimised for immediate creation, with a fully engineered, ready-to-build homesite.”

Masterfully designed architectural plans are already in place, carefully structured to frame the awe-inspiring, uninterrupted panoramic views that sweep past the iconic Glass House Mountains and out to the glistening Pacific coastline.”

Mr Hopper said: “Once people stand on the homesite and take in the outlook, they quickly realise the campaign was never really about dinosaurs”.

“It was about creating a memorable introduction to an unforgettable property. The consistent feedback from buyers has been that they are completely blown away by the views, the privacy, the scale of the land, and just how special it feels in person.

“The opportunity here is truly limited only by imagination, whether the next custodian wants to build a world-class lifestyle estate, an architectural masterpiece, or a boutique eco-tourism venture.”

The current owners, who prepared the site and shaped its unique identity, have made the difficult decision to pass the torch to a new family as life directs them toward a new chapter.

But alas, the dinosaurs are not included.
