A home down the road from the Pratt family, one formerly owned by a beloved restaurateur and another being sold by a richlister have hit the market in 24 hours.
A more than $38m series of high-end Melbourne homes with connections to the city’s movers and shakers have been served up to the market in the span of 24 hours.
Donna Boyd, ex-wife to Sonic Healthcare boss and richlister Michael Boyd, is selling a $12m South Yarra home bought off of one of Melbourne’s best known restaurateurs in 2017.
The home was previously in the hands of The European and Supper Club restaurateur Con Christopoulos who listed the home in 2015 for $7.5m-$8m, after about a decade living in it.

Corelogic records showing it spent just under a year on the market, and industry sources suggest Ms Boyd paid a little north of $8m for the home.
The five-bedroom residence’s exterior brickwork is aesthetic, and often juxtaposed with climbing green ivy, while interiors are dressed with gold-coloured curtains between rooms and chunky designer light fittings.
Formerly owned by a top restaurateur, this home is sumptuously appointed and designed.
Unsurprisingly, the kitchen is a showstopper.
There’s luxury, and then there’s walk-in bath luxury.
There’s arched entrances inside and out, and a luxurious walk-in bathtub and shower in the main wet area that’s surrounded by polished concrete.
The listing is being handled by Marshall White’s Marcus Chiminello and Abby Innes.
Meanwhile Netwealth Boss Matthew Heine is selling his Albert Park home, about two years after buying a $20m Toorak mansion from high-profile culinary couple Andrew McConnell and Joanna McGann — best known for their venues Cumulus Inc, Gimlet and Supernormal.
Their Bayside residence is slated for a $15m-$16m sale, unprecedented for the suburb.
Architects Ewert Leaf overhauled the home for the pair.
Billiards, a movie or just a drink with friends — the bar and games room has you covered.
Work out and plan to relax in the pool, or go for a swim and work up to the gym session.
Chances are you didn’t know you needed a walk-in wardrobe cage until just now.
There’s a caged walk-in wardrobe and a games room with its own bar and a moody, blue colour scheme.
And then there’s the cottage at the rear that fronts onto Herbert Lane and adds a home gym and sauna that looks out to the pool and spa, and comes with its own rooftop terrace.
Marshall White’s Oliver Bruce and Ben Manolitsas are handling the sale.
And in Kew, four doors down from Victoria’s richest family, the billionaire Pratts, a five-bedroom mansion has hit the market with a $9.8m-$10.6m asking price.
Records show the house, a short distance from where the Pratt family are understood to have built an outdoor amphitheatre, is in the name of Miao Li.
Three levels of home to enjoy, plus a verdant garden.
A spiral staircase wraps around a statue between the ground and first floors.
Another staircase leads to the home’s wine cellar … and a second statue space.
The features list include curving staircases between the home’s three main levels, one of them wrapping around a statue, the second backed by a climate-controlled cellar.
It’s listed with RT Edgar’s Annabelle Feng and Ted Jao.
