Cricketing icon Michael Clarke is selling his secluded Vaucluse mansion on coveted Olola Ave after just four years of ownership.
The five-bedroom two-storey contemporary residence at 51 Olola Ave comes with a long list of luxury features, as well as a who’s who of high profile former owners.
The 784sq m property was previously home to Allco Finance executive, Phil Griffin until his passing in 2008 when it was sold to property developer Bryan Rose for $4.62m.
Construction boss Andrew Daoud, of director of Dowco Property Group, then picked it up in 2019 for $8m.
According to title records, Clarke bought the house in 2021 for $13.1m, just after selling his nearby matrimonial home with ex-wife, Kyly, for $12m.

Australian Cricket Hall of Famer, whose prolific career saw him score over 8,600 test runs and 28 centuries, has plans to stay in the neighbourhood.
He has spent close to $20m for a larger six-bedroom home on Hopetoun Ave with a tennis court and pool.
Listed with father and son duo, Bill and David Malouf of Highland Double Bay Malouf, Clarke’s home has no official price guide, however recent comparable sales are $20.5m-$21.5m.
The home has been renovated during Clarke’s ownership.
There’s an open-plan main living level.
Renovated during Clarke’s ownership, the Olola Ave property has an open-plan main living level flowing to undercover entertainment areas and a Mediterranean-inspired kitchen with a grand island bench, ILVE gas cooktop, Miele appliances, an integrated fridge and freezer, as well as an adjoining laundry.
“It’s a property where you walk in the front door, and you’ve got level access straight out to the large courtyard swimming pool. It picks up natural sunlight from the first thing in the morning, right through the day because it runs from east to west,” Bill says.
It comes with a heated pool and a cabana, a barbecue area, two outdoor showers and an outdoor toilet.

The home is built over two levels.
Malouf added that the home is a private hideaway, a must-have for VIP owners.
“That’s obviously the reason he purchased it originally. No one can look in, once you’re inside you’ve got brilliant privacy,” he said.
The primary entertainer’s level also features heated limestone floors, a large formal lounge room with a fireplace, marble wet bar and a balcony, plus a guest bedroom, a study and full bathroom.
Up on the accommodation level, the full-width main bedroom has a private sundeck, a vast dressing room-style wardrobe and a palatial ensuite with a freestanding tub, dual vanities, twin showers and access to another balcony overlooking the gardens.
The pool is heated, so can be enjoyed all year round.

There are three more bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a shared lounge area upstairs.
Extra features include C-bus technology, Bose surround sound, a back-to-base alarm, ducted air conditioning, a double lock up garage with internal access and two off-street parking spaces.
Olola Ave, which sits opposite Vaucluse House parklands, has been a favourite among a range of high-net worth homeowners, such as freight boss Arthur Tzaneros, who sold his trophy home at 26-27 through David Malouf and Sotheby’s agent Michael Pallier earlier this year for $45m.
