Chris and Bec Judd’s Arthurs Seat holiday home came up short on their price hopes.

Bec and Chris Judd took a six-figure hit on their Arthurs Seat sale earlier this year, letting the holiday home go for far less than their $3m hopes.

With more than 752,000 social media followers, Ms Judd is known for a number of ventures including co-founding the Jaggad sportswear label and co-hosting the Vain-ish podcast alongside her best friend, TV presenter and fellow influencer Jess Roberts.

Set on 3ha, the mid-century house was transformed into a “country ranch” by Ms Judd, The Melbourne Builder & Co and Nathan Burkett Landscape Architecture prior to being put on the market.

Her two-time Brownlow medallist husband, Chris, captained West Coast and Carlton during his football career before retiring in 2015.

He later established the Melbourne-based investment firm Cerutty Macro Fund where he is now a director and portfolio manager.

Although the power couple’s Mornington Peninsula property changed hands in May, the sales figure remained undisclosed but has now been released in public records.

The three-bedroom abode was listed with a $2.85m-$3m price hopes however it sold for $2.78m, a sum $220,000 below the advertised range’s upper end.

Although the Judds purchased the circa-1970s home for $1,212,500 almost a decade ago, Ms Judd’s social media accounts showcased a makeover with interiors by her design studio RJ Home throughout late 2024 and into 2025.

The garden features dams, a circular spa and pool, and an undercover barbecue kitchen.

Indoors, there’s an open-plan living and dining room with a wood fire heater.

The main bedroom is fitted with an ensuite and built-in wardrobes, while the kitchen has a benchtop and splashback made from Patagonia quartzite, a stone quarried in South America.

Ms Judd described the room as “the modern, bush, Australiana, country kitchen of my dreams,” on Instagram.

Oak joinery and flooring, exposed beams and a neutral colour palette feature throughout the home.

Marshall White Bayside director Ben Vieth declined to comment on the sold price or the buyer, as did Morell and Koren buyers’ advocate Matthew Cleverdon who purchased the abode on behalf of a client.

However, Mr Vieth said the house’s furniture and other design pieces curated by Ms Judd – such as a coffee machine matched to the abode’s colour scheme – were included in the sale.

“She wanted to sell it (the house) as she created it,” Mr Vieth said.

“The property was done to a level that’s not typically seen at that price point in the area – the level of detail and the fixtures and the fittings were like those in homes that would sell for tens of millions of dollars in Melbourne suburbs.”

Mr Vieth said most of the interested buyers were from Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.

The Judds sold this Brighton house for $4.6m in 2018.

Prior to selling their Arthurs Seat pad, the Judds offloaded a three-storey Brighton house for $4.6m in 2018.

The following year, they purchased a Spanish Colonial-style mansion, also in Brighton, for $7.3m.

The couple faced some challenges in renovating the residence including the garage not being larger enough to fit Ms Judd’s Range Rover.

She told radio station KIIS FM they spent $50,000 to “bang out the column, put some more structural steel across the top and open it up” in order for her to be able to park inside it.

Nine years ago, the Judds sold this Prahran townhouse before buying in Brighton.

A marble staircase was added to the house’s entry way and the laundry was repurposed as a butler’s pantry.

Other highlights include a bar and tennis court.

Previously, Mr and Ms Judd sold their four-storey Prahran townhouse for $1.96m in 2016.

Prior to the sale, Ms Judd renovated and refurbished the home for her online home style series, The Style School.
