Hugh Jackman’s penthouse would now be worth about $15m, real estate sources say.
More than two years after Hugh Jackman and Deborah-Lee Furness split, there’s no sign the Hollywood hearthrob will let go of his dream North Bondi penthouse.
That’s despite real estate sources estimating the three-bedroom luxury pad overlooking the surf would now be worth about $15m.
Insiders say Jackman, who hasn’t been seen in Sydney since December 2024, plans to hang on to the Ben Buckler apartment as his Aussie base.
“Why would he ever sell it?” one said. “It’s in the best spot in Bondi Beach!”
The 125sqm property, bought for $5,925,000 in 2015, hasn’t been listed for permanent rent, at $10,000 per week, since February 2022.

The Ben Buckler penthouse was bought for $5,925,000 in 2015.
It was briefly on exclusive short-term rental sites in 2024 at $2,400 per night, but even those ads look to have disappeared, suggesting he wants it available for his own use whenever the mood takes him.
Yet a return to Sydney hasn’t been on his radar of late, with Jackman, 57, and his new flame Sutton Foster, 50, escaping their usual home in New York City to welcome in 2026 on the Costa Rican coast.
It was only last April that Jackman and Furness, together for 27 years, were “embroiled in a bitter dispute over their $250m family fortune”, according to Women’s Day, culminating in their May divorce.
But while their $60m New York penthouse was listed for sale, Jackman got to keep his Aussie pad, bought with the help of his friend and agent Paul Dainty.
The views are incredible.
It offers three bedrooms and 120sqm of living space.
Some of the other owners in the boutique block of six are also notable.
The Australian film producer, actress, and Penfolds family heiress Rebel Penfold-Russell buying her three-bedder on the ground floor for $12m in February 2023, which was rented out last summer at $6,500 per week.
And, according to one source, PR maven Roxy Jackenko’s mum Doreen “stole” her ground-floor three-bedder next door to Rebel’s for a bargain $8.6m in 2022.
With Jackman’s apartment being on the top floor, agents say his would be well over the $12m paid by Penfold-Russell three years ago. “Probably about $15m or $15.5m”, one industry source said.
