Media power couple Lisa Wilkinson and husband Peter Fitzsimon could see the landmark sale of their lower north shore home soon matched or even eclipsed by some Hollywood-style dazzle in nearby Castle Cove.
Wilkinson recently sold her home in Cremorne Point for an undisclosed price reported to be close to the $23m price guide - one of the highest prices ever paid on the lower north shore - but this could be matched by a newly listed property in Castle Cove.
What looks like a home straight out of a Hollywood movie, the property at 47-49 Neerim Rd has hit the market as one of the most distinct homes on the north shore.
The seven bedroom, 10-bathroom and six-car space residence was designed by Swiss-trained architect Gerry Rihs. It was built over a decade and recently renovated.
The commanding residence spans 2553 sqm across a waterfront parcel that captures sweeping north-easterly vistas across Middle Harbour and surrounding bushland.

The online listing describes the interiors as “bathed in natural light through oversized glazing and a cathedral glass dome”.
Other features listed included its marble-detialed foyer along with multiple formal and informal living areas.
