The Sovereign Collection is expected to draw interest from billionaires and celebrities.
Billionaires and celebrities who want the space of a mansion without the maintenance, are expected to lead the demand for a one-of-a-kind project in southeast Queensland.
Real estate agency Kollosche is marketing The Sovereign Collection – a rare release of six penthouses, each priced from $8.995m, on one of Australia’s most exclusive waterfront enclaves on the Gold Coast.

“Sovereign Islands is one of the most tightly held residential enclaves in the country, and this is the first luxury apartment project ever approved here,” said Kollosche Managing Director Michael Kollosche.
“It’s an opportunity to enjoy the space and privacy of a freestanding home, but in an ultra modern, low-maintenance format.”
While the Sovereign Islands has long been a magnet for high-net-worth buyers – including billionaire Clive Palmer, who owns multiple properties valued at more than $40m at the time of their purchase – the island has never before offered this style of living.

Located on The Sovereign Mile, each penthouse spans 545sq m 584sm – more than twice the size of the average Australian home – with an entire floor dedicated to living, a private rooftop for entertaining, and a deepwater marina berth.
Interiors by architect Koichi Takada feature open-plan living and dining areas that connect to a full-width balcony, a kitchen with butler’s pantry, and three bedrooms, including a private master wing.
On each penthouse rooftop, residents enjoy use of their own pool, covered alfresco entertaining area and panoramic views across the Broadwater. In the basement, a secure three car garage is reserved for each penthouse.

“These homes are designed for people who appreciate space, but prefer a simpler lifestyle without the complexities of traditional estate-style properties,” Mr Kollosche said.
“This is luxury reimagined from the top down – from panoramic rooftop entertaining to world-class boating at your doorstep, all in a secure, lock-and-leave format that doesn’t compromise on lifestyle.”
The project is being delivered by Sovereign Treasure Investments Trust, led by Mr Ching Chiat Kwong, with Core Property Partners engaged as the local development partner. Construction is set to begin in the final quarter of this year, with a targeted two-year build time.
The project first hit the market last year but has since relaunched with Kollosche.

Nathan Andersen, managing director of Core Property Partners, said the development will set a new standard for prestige living on the Gold Coast.
“We plan to transform the Sovereign Islands’ luxury marina into the premier residential destination on the Gold Coast. Defined by unparalleled opulence and sophistication, The Sovereign Collection will be truly unmatched,” Mr Andersen said.
“We’ve delivered a series of high-end residential projects nationally, working closely with some of Australia’s most accomplished and trusted contractors.
“Our longstanding relationships are central to how we ensure consistent quality, innovation,
and attention to detail across every stage of development. With The Sovereign Collection, we’re leveraging that network to deliver a truly world-class offering – one that reflects the highest standards of design, construction, and luxury living.”

The penthouses will appeal to prestige buyers locally, across Australia and internationally, focusing on those seeking a private, lock-and-leave residence with absolute waterfront access and architectural distinction.
“It’s rare to find a location that delivers this level of privacy, position and prestige,” said Mr Kollosche.
“There is genuinely nothing else like it available in the Australian market.”
Sovereign Islands is a deepwater enclave at the northern tip of the Gold Coast, accessed via a single entry bridge and renowned for its concentration of prestige real estate.
