EXCLUSIVE: Kylie Jenner Slashes $2.3 Million Off Price of Her Hidden Hills Mansion—Weeks After Putting It on the Market

2 days ago 11

Reality star Kylie Jenner doesn't appear too keen to "keep up" the price of her longtime Hidden Hills home—having already slashed a sizable $2.26 million from her asking price, just five weeks after the property first appeared on the market.

Kylie, 28, first listed her longtime California dwelling for $20.25 million on March 23, weeks after she put her nearby Holmby Hills mansion on the market for the even higher price of $48 million.

But while the pricier of her two properties remains listed with that sky-high ask, it appears Jenner is a little more willing to compromise on the amount she's requesting for her Hidden Hills home, with records showing that the asking price has now been dropped to $17.99 million.

It's unclear what, exactly, has prompted the price cut, particularly when the home has only been on the market for a matter of weeks, however it may be that the reality star is eager not to face the same monthslong struggle to offload the dwelling that her mother, Kris Jenner, has endured in her attempt to sell the family's iconic "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" mansion.

Kris originally listed the infamous dwelling—which is located just a six-minute drive from Kylie's abode—for $13.5 million in February 2025 and it remains on the market more than a year later.

In February of this year, Oppenheim Group President and CEO Jason Oppenheim, of "Selling Sunset" and "Selling The OC" fame, told Realtor.com® that Kris' struggle to sell the property may well be the result of a "softened" Hidden Hills market, noting that interest in the area had dulled slightly after hitting a peak in the wake of the COVID pandemic.

While Kris has held strong with her original asking price, despite a lack of concrete offers, it may well be that Kylie is hoping to secure a speedy sale and she might therefore be willing to reduce any potential profit on the home in order to offload it.

That's not to say that the on-screen-star-turned-fashion-designer will walk away from a sale with nothing to show for it—quite the opposite, in fact.

Kylie, who is currently in a very high-profile relationship with Timothee Chalamet, purchased the sprawling 13,200-square-foot Hidden Hills dwelling for $12.05 million in late 2016, when she was just 19. It initially served as her primary residence for many years.

This means that, even with the reduced asking price, she stands to earn around $6 million on the sale of the home—although it's unclear exactly how much she has spent on renovations to the dwelling since she first bought it.

During the 10 years that she has owned the home, the mother of two has carried out extensive changes to the property, which is now "designed for both everyday living and grand-scale entertaining," according to the listing held by fellow reality TV star Josh Altman of Douglas Elliman.

"The light-filled residence was designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living, featuring a spectacular open floor plan," the description goes on.

The dwelling offers ample room for a Kardahsian-Jenner-sized brood, boasting eight bedrooms and eight full bathrooms, including an attached guest suite with a private entrance, kitchenette, sitting area, and courtyard.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the highlight of those living spaces is the primary suite, which is described as a "true retreat," complete with its own private sitting area, two enormous walk-in closets, a stunning en-suite bathroom—with a large stone soaking tub—and a balcony that overlooks the beautiful surrounding area.

As for entertaining spaces, the property is replete with living areas designed to host multiple guests, starting with the enormous chef's kitchen that has two islands and "flows into a dramatic great room with walls of disappearing glass" that open it up to the picturesque grounds.

There is also a home theater, a wet bar, a game room, a gym, a massage room, and a beautifully decorated office with a fireplace.

The dwelling sits on a 1.4-acre parcel that is home to a glittering swimming pool and spa, an enormous patio, an outdoor kitchen, and a firepit area.

Enormous windows fill every room with natural light throughout the day, while enormous trees lining the backyard help to ensure privacy.

The dwelling was one of three Hidden Hills homes purchased by Kylie over an 18-month period, becoming the last of the trio to be added to her portfolio of properties in the area.

She bought the first for $2.7 million at the tender age of 17, before picking up a nearby home for $6 million.

However, while the reality TV star offloaded the other two abodes within a year or so of buying them, she held on to the largest of the three, using it as a home base for herself and her children, Stormi and Aire.

Images of her most recently listed property reveal that many of the spaces appear to have been staged, while the closets are all empty, suggesting that the Khy by Kylie Jenner founder has not lived in the home for some time now.

Kylie will not be quitting the Hidden Hills neighborhood—where the majority of her family members also reside—altogether, however. She purchased a huge plot of land in the area for $15 million in 2020, where she spent more than five years building her dream estate.

According to planning applications, Kylie had earmarked the parcel to serve as the location of an enormous 18,000-square-foot property that would offer her additional privacy and more room for her family to enjoy.

Among the features of her newly designed dwelling were a 12-car garage, a guesthouse, a sport court, and a security office, as well as an enormous swimming pool.

As of June 2025, images revealed that work on the project was nearly completed, suggesting that Kylie may have been preparing to move into her new abode full time.

In another sign that her custom estate is nearing completion, the reality star also listed another property in her portfolio: a concrete fortress-style mansion in Holmby Hills, where she is understood to have spent time living with her former partner, Scott.

The concrete compound features an Instagram-ready layout with 15,320 square feet of living space, seven bedrooms, and 9.5 bathrooms.

"Welcome to the pinnacle of Holmby Hills. Situated on Mapleton Drive—arguably the most prestigious location in Los Angeles—this is not just a home; it is a modern fortress designed for the ultimate privacy seeker," the listing reads.

Just before entering the home, guests are greeted by 12-foot-tall gates that emphasize the importance of safety and privacy.

The living area comes complete with a cozy fireplace and an expansive view of the backyard, which features a resort-style pool.

The chef's kitchen is equipped with a marble island and seating area, plenty of cabinet space, and state-of-the-art appliances.

The spacious dining area is surrounded by all-white walls and topped by an elegant chandelier.

One of the many entertaining areas features a second bar and a pool table, making it the perfect place to welcome guests.

The property "designed for grand-scale entertaining and quiet retreat alike" includes a cozy home theater, a chic bar, a pool cabana, a large gym, a game room, an outdoor projection screen, and a sport court.
