The four-bedroom penthouse at Este, at Little Bay, has sold for a suburb-record breaking price.
This eastern suburbs penthouse overlooking the ocean has just sold for a record-breaking price, but the price may surprise you.
The four-bedroom apartment, in the $250m Este development at Little Bay, just 17 minutes drive east from the Sydney CBD, fetched a suburb apartment record of $4.7m off the plan.
The price just short of $5m is nothing to be sneezed at, but if located in a coastal suburb closer to the CBD it could have been three times that amount.
The purchaser, relocating from Double Bay, was apparently drawn to Little Bay’s elevated coastal lifestyle and the rare opportunity to secure a spacious, design-led home that balances
privacy, nature and wellness.
The milestone sale in Este, developed by Urban Property Group, follows an exceptional six-week sales campaign for the project, which has now sold more than 50 per cent since its launch in late October.

Another of the Este purchasers came from Bondi.
Located just 14km from the city, Little Bay’s pristine beaches, walkable village feel and location to golf amenities have apparently been key driver for purchasers.
The project has also achieved a significant construction milestone, with the building structure
now topped out and completion on track for the third quarter of 2026.
That means residents will be moving in before next summer.
Demand has been fuelled by a mix of local downsizers and purchasers from premium
postcodes including Bondi and Coogee.
Este, across two low-rise buildings, is designed by leading landscape architect Arcadia.
The two, three and four-bedroom residences, designed by Hill Thalis, are situated between three of Sydney’s top golf courses, NSW Golf Club, St Michael’s Golf Course and The Coast Golf Course.
Urban Property Group sales director Tom McIvor said: “The response to Este has
been nothing short of extraordinary.
“The remarkable sales result, selling more than 50 per cent of apartments, speaks to the unique appeal of this development.

sanctuary that offers both seclusion and connectivity to the heart of Sydney.
“It’s a nature and ocean lover’s paradise.”
SRM Residential senior director, Clayton Ross said: “There’s truly nothing else like it along Sydney’s coastline.”
A highlight of Este’s offering is its exclusive wellness amenities, including a heated rooftop infinity pool and outdoor heated spa, a state-of-the-art Technogym fitness centre, and a
sauna.
